What is Arena in Tarkov?

Tarkov Arena is a stand-alone game in the Tarkov franchise featuring different game modes.

What ranked modes are there in Arena?

There are two ranked modes in EFT Arena: Shootout and Teamfight. 

• Shootout is a tournament-like mode where 6 (2-player) or 4 (three-player) teams compete to win. The two teams with the best score will meet in the final to prove their strength. The goal is to eliminate the enemy team until the timer runs out. Once the timer is out, participants must capture a special objective to win.
• Teamfight is a mode where 2 teams of 5 players fight for a victory. The victory can be achieved by defeating the opposite team or capturing an objective during overtime.

What roles are there in Tarkov Arena?

Four roles in the Arena determine your equipment:

• Assault - this class has the most balanced gear, featuring various assault rifles and other guns.
• CQB - a class with the strongest armor that allows a player to survive longer than usual
• Scout - a high-risk, high-reward class that comes with armor-piercing ammo and weak armor
• Marksman - a sniper class that utilizes accurate and powerful rifles at long ranges
